«Лондон»; тренировка орфографического навыка

ДИАЛОГ ГИДА И ТУРИСТОВ.

Цели урока: совершенствование лексических навыков; развитие навыков диалогической речи по теме «Лондон»; тренировка орфографического навыка.

Оборудование: игрушечный телефон; карточки с заданием по теме «Фразовый глагол to take» для каждого ученика.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

- Good morning, boys and girls (Good morning, Мария Петровна!)

- I am glad to see you. (We are glad to see you too,)

- How are you? (We are fine, thanks. And how are you?)

- I am fine, thank you. Who is absent today? (Ail pupils are present.)

- Sit down, please.

II. Фонетическая зарядка

- Let's remember our poem about three little monkeys.
Three little monkeys jumping on the bed.

(Дети прыгают.)

One fell off and bumped his head.

(Дети, показывают, что ушибли ее.)

Mama called the doctor and the doctor said:

(Дети набирают номер телефона и прикладывают трубку к уху.)

«No more little monkeys jumping on that bed».

(Дети делают ритмичные движения рукой с вытянутым указательным пальцем из стороны в сторону.)

III. Закрепление понятий, развитие монологической речи с помощью синквейна (от cinque фр. –пять).

Предложить учащимся составить синквейн на тему достопримечательности Лондона. Предварительно рассказать о PATTERN POETRY, дать примеры акростиха и синквейна.

Acrostic Poems

Acrostic poems are easy to write, and some of the easiest acrostic poems use names.

Try this exercise: write your name vertically on a piece of paper or type it. For example, we'll take a name "Joe". Now think of a word or a phrase that describes you that begins with the "J" letter. Then think of a word or phrase that begins with "O". Finally, think of a word or phrase that begins with "E". Here's what your acrostic poem might look like:

Joe

Jolly

Outgoing

Excellent

Затем переходим к синквейну:

Cinquain Poetry (Алгоритм синквейна)

A Cinquain poem focuses on one idea. It has five lines and follows a pattern.
1 ряд - одно слово (существительное), определяющее содержание

2 ряд - 2 прилагательных, характеризующих понятие.

3 ряд - 3 глагола, показывают действие понятия

4 ряд - предложение из 4 слов. Выражает авторское отношение

5 ряд – одно слово (существительное), другое определение понятия
These are examples of Cinquain Poetry: (Записываются на доске)
Tiger - Line 1: One word (noun) determining the contents

Running, chasing - Line 2: Two words describe the title (Adjectives).

Striped, mean, fast - Line 3: Three words express action (verbs).

He loves to hunt - Line 4: Four words express a feeling.

Cat - Line 5: One word (another word for the title) (Noun).

Tower

Ancient, majestic,

Stand, impress, get older.

It has a bloody history

Задание: написать и затем прочитать синквейны о Тауэре, Букингемском дворце, любой достопримечательности Лондона. Можно пользоваться электронным словарем Dicto.

IV. Активизация фразового глагола to take

- Let's remember the phrasal verb «to take». Put the right prepositions in the sentences on your cards.

Учащиеся получают карточки с заданием и выполняют задание в течение 3 минут. Затем ученики зачитывают предложения и переводят их.

1. Take care ... the pennies and the pounds will take care ... themselves.

2. He is fond of taking....

3. Do her children take ... in the concert?

4. The meeting took ... in the park.

5. Jane must take care ... her old Granny.

VI. Совершенствование лексических навыков

- Today we shall learn some words «first, at first». Look at the table «Word Focus» on page 68, exercise 24.

Let's read the definitions of the words and the examples.

Ученики по очереди читают словосочетания и предложения из таблицы на с. 68, упр. 24. Учитель организует выполнение упр. 25, с. 68. Учащиеся должны не только вставить слова, но и перевести предложения.
